As a healthcare provider based in the UK and regulated by the Care Quality Commission in England, Health Hero follow the current guidance issued by the NHS and British Medical Association on retention of healthcare records.

The current guidance is that GP records are retained for a minimum of 10 years after death, but that Electronic Health Records (EHRs) must not be destroyed or deleted. This includes any video or audio recordings.
